Rhode Island's New Car Prep Service Providers
Have you recently purchased a new car or maybe you've purchased a slightly used car from a dealership (new to you)? There's nothing quite like owning a new vehicle from the exclusive new car smell to the sense of pride, and let's face it, making your co-workers a little jealous. However, just because a vehicle is brand new or new to you from a dealership, it doesn’t mean that it is perfect.
Most new vehicles are hauled across the country by railroad or large car carriers, spending quite a bit of time sitting in shipping yards. In addition, vehicles tend to sit on the dealer lot for several weeks or even months until they are finally sold. During this time, all exterior surfaces can accumulate contamination, lights scratches, swirl marks, etc. In many cases, dealerships just simply wash the vehicle and apply tire shine to the tires before handing them off to the customer. Therefore there isn’t any type of protection for the paint, wheels, glass, interior, etc. to keep it looking its best for a long time to come.
PRO TIP:
Do not let the dealership talk you into their paint protection products or paint protection film. Most dealerships, with very few exceptions, use sub-standard protection products that claim they with stop everything from happening to your car. Read the fine print - there are typically a ton of exceptions and ways for the dealership to get out of paying for anything. They also overcharge for each product leaving you to pay thousands of dollar more for inferior products.
